Traditional rules state that ladies must dress in skirts, aprons and headscarves
and toss a pancake. Now in its 28th year, the Melbourne pancake race recreates the
original Pancake Day Race held at Olney, England, which has been held since 1445.
You must run 380m with a pancake and frypan dressed in traditional apron and head
