Originally known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day is all about celebrating the glorious dessert made from eggs, milk and flour!

What is Shrove Tuesday?
An ancient tradition! Families would use up all of their rich foods, like eggs, milk and sugar before embarking on 40 days of fasting.
As these ingredients are perfect to cook up a bunch of buttermilks, it has now widely become known as Pancake Day.
